Okay, and let me say, I am apologizing (sorry!) for using this for self promotion. But this is a good thing to do this weekend and GRUNDLEHAMMER at the 2640 space is Baltimore DIY through and through! While there are many excellent things going on this weekend (JEFF at Golden West will not be a waste of your time, for instance), this might be the best! (this is not, technically, a guarantee).
Gründlehämmer is an original fantasy rock opera; it’s the second run of the Baltimore Rock Opera Society’s inaugural sold-out show and it’s well on its way to being packed again. Pre-sale tickets are already gone for Friday and Saturday, but stop by a few hours early and there should still be a few left. If a Sunday matinee appeals, you can still snap up tickets to that. For those who still need convincing, check out the cover story in The City Paper and a review on Aural States.
Thanks so much, I’m Sablesma and I play that handsome green guy up top, The Grundle. Hope to see you there.
PS it’s BYOB, discreetly
